Mustadrak al-Hakim 6715 — Virtues of Sa'sa'ah bin Mu'awiyah
أخبرنا أبو محمد المُزَني (2)، أخبرنا أبو خليفة، حدثنا محمد بن سلَّام الجُمَحي، حدثنا أبو عُبيدة مَعمَر بن المثنَّى، قال: صَعْصَعَةُ بن معاوية بن حُصين ابن عُمير بن عُبادة بن النَّزّال بن مُرَّة بن عُبيد بن مُقاعِس بن عمرو بن كعب بن سعد ابن زيد مَنَاة بن تَميم، عمُّ الأحنف بن قيس.
It is narrated from Ma'mar bin al-Muthanna that: Sa'sa'ah bin Mu'awiyah bin Husayn bin Umayr bin Ubadah bin al-Nazzal bin Murrah bin Ubayd bin Muqa'is bin Amr bin Ka'b bin Sa'd bin Zayd Manat bin Tamim; he is the paternal uncle of Sayyiduna al-Ahnaf bin Qays (may Allah be pleased with him).
