أخبرني أبو عبد الله محمد بن علي الصَّنعاني بمكة، حدثنا إسحاق بن إبراهيم، أخبرنا عبد الرزاق، أخبرنا مَعمَر، عن الزُّهْري، حدثني ابنُ أخي أبي رُهم، أنه سمع أبا رُهُم كُلثومَ بن حُصين -من أصحاب رسول الله ﷺ الذين بايعوا تحتَ الشَّجرة- قال: غزوتُ مع رسول الله ﷺ غزوةَ تَبُوكَ، فسِرتُ ذاتَ ليلةٍ معه ونحن بقُرْبِ رسول الله ﷺ وأُلقِيَ عليه النُّعاسُ، وجعلتُ أَستيقِظُ وقد دَنَتْ راحِلَتي من راحلةِ رسول الله ﷺ فَطَفِقتُ أَجْرُرُ (1) راحلتي عنه حتى غَلَبَتْني عَيْني في بعض الطريق ونحنُ في بعض الليل، فقال رسول الله ﷺ: "إِنَّ أعَزَّ أهلي عليَّ أن يتخلَّفَ عنِّي المهاجرون من قُريشٍ والأنصارُ وأَسلَمُ وغِفارٌ" (2). ذكرُ حُذَيفة بن أَسِيد الغِفاري ﵁-

It is narrated from the nephew of Abu Ruhm that he heard Abu Ruhm Kulthum bin Husayn (may Allah be pleased with him), who was one of the Companions who gave the pledge beneath the Tree, say: "I took part in the Battle of Tabuk with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). One night I was travelling close to him (peace and blessings be upon him) when drowsiness overcame him (peace and blessings be upon him). My mount came very close to the she-camel of him (peace and blessings be upon him), so I began pulling my mount away from him (peace and blessings be upon him), until at some hour of the night sleep overcame me. Then the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: 'Indeed, the hardest thing for me concerning my people is that the Muhajirun of Quraysh, the Ansar, and the tribes of Aslam and Ghifar should stay behind from me.'"

Note / Clarification: This is how it appears in the manuscripts, whereas in Imam al-Dhahabi's "Talkhis" the word is recorded as "azjar".
(2) إسناده فيه ضعف لابهام ابن أخي أبي رهم وجهالته، فقد انفرد بالرواية عنه الزهري.
Grading: Its chain contains weakness, because the nephew of Abu Ruhm is "mubham" (unnamed) and "majhul" (unknown), and Imam al-Zuhri is the only one who narrates from him.
وأخرجه أحمد 31 / (19072)، وابن حبان (7257) من طريق عبد الرزاق، بهذا الإسناد.
Reference / Source: Imam Ahmad 31 / (19072) and Ibn Hibban (7257) recorded it through the route of 'Abd al-Razzaq with this same chain.
