عَاشَ أَنَسُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ مِائَةً وَسَبْعَ سِنِينَ

أخبرني أحمد بن سهل الفقيه بُبخارى، حدثنا قيس بن أُنُيف، حدثنا قُتَيبة بن سعيد، حدثنا عبد الوارث بن سعيد، عن عبد العزيز بن صُهَيب قال: دخلتُ أنا وثابتٌ البناني على أنس بن مالك، فقال ثابت: يا أبا حمزةَ (3).
It is narrated from Abd al-Aziz bin Suhayb that he said: Thabit al-Bunani and I went to Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him), and Thabit addressed him (by his kunyah), saying: "O Abu Hamzah!"

(3) حديث صحيح، وهذا إسناد حسن من أجل قيس بن أُنيف، فإنه صالح حسن الحديث، وقد توبع. فقد أخرجه الترمذي (973)، والنسائي (10794) عن قُتَيبة بن سعيد، بهذا الإسناد.
Grading: The hadith is sahih, and this chain is "hasan" on account of Qays bin Unayf.
Technical note / Defect ('illah): Qays bin Unayf is a righteous (salih) narrator who is hasan in hadith, and he has been corroborated.
Reference / Source: It was narrated by al-Tirmidhi (973) and al-Nasa'i (10794) from Qutaybah bin Sa'id, with this chain.
وأخرجه البخاري (5742) عن مسدَّد، عن عبد الوارث بن سعيد، به.
Reference / Source: It was narrated by al-Bukhari (5742) from Musaddad, from 'Abd al-Warith bin Sa'id, likewise.
وتتمة الخبر في الرُّقية بأذهب البأس رب الناس. وانظر تمام تخريجه في "مسند أحمد" 20/ (12532).
Details of the narration: The rest of the report concerns the ruqyah (incantation): "Adhhib al-ba's, Rabb al-nas" (Remove the harm, O Lord of mankind).
