It is narrated from Imam Malik bin Anas (may Allah have mercy on him) that he said: Ibn Shihab al-Zuhri said to me: "Never deviate from the opinion of Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both), for he lived for sixty years after the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), and nothing of the sayings of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) or of the affairs of his Companions remained hidden from him."

Note / Clarification: In our manuscripts this word is "ghabiya", which means "khafiya" (was hidden), whereas in "Tarikh Dimashq" (31/ 164), via the author (al-Hakim) himself, the words "fa-lam yakhfa" ("so it was not hidden") are narrated.
Grading: Its chain is sahih.
