Mustadrak al-Hakim — Hadith 6354

Khalifah bin Khayyat states that Sayyiduna al-Miswar bin Makhramah (may Allah be pleased with him) died in Makkah in the year 64 AH, and it is said that he died at al-Hajun; he was in the Hijr (Hatim) in Makkah when a stone from a catapult struck him, and he died five days later. Sayyiduna Abdullah bin al-Zubayr (may Allah be pleased with them both) led his funeral prayer, and he was 68 years old at the time.
