حدثنا أبو العبّاس محمد بن يعقوب، حدثنا العبّاس بن محمد الدُّوري، حدثنا يعقوب بن إبراهيم بن سعد، حدثنا أَبي، عن الوليد بن كثير، حدثني محمد ابن عَمْرو بن حَلحَلَة الدِّيلِي، أنَّ ابن شهاب حدَّثه، أنَّ عليَّ بن الحسين حدَّثه: أنهم حين قَدِموا المدينةَ من عند يزيد بن معاوية بعد مَقتَل الحُسين بن علي رضوان الله وسلامه عليهما، لقيه المِسورُ بن مَخرَمة فقال: سمعت النبيَّ ﷺ يَخطُب على مِنبَرِه وأنا يومئذٍ محتلِمٌ (1).
هذا حديث صحيح على شرط الشيخين، ولم يُخرجاه!

Sayyiduna Ali bin al-Husayn (may Allah be pleased with them both) states that when they returned to Madinah from Yazid bin Mu'awiyah after the martyrdom of Sayyiduna al-Husayn bin Ali (may Allah be pleased with them both), Sayyiduna al-Miswar bin Makhramah (may Allah be pleased with him) met him and said: "I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) delivering a sermon on his pulpit, and at that time I had reached puberty."
This hadith is sahih (authentic) on the condition of the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim), but they did not record it.

Grading: Its chain is sahih.
وأخرجه أحمد 31/ (18913)، والبخاري (3110)، ومسلم (2449)، وأبو داود (2069)، والنسائي (8314) و (8469)، وابن حبان (6956) من طرق عن يعقوب بن إبراهيم، بهذا الإسناد. وذكروا فيه قصة خطبة علي بن أبي طالب لابنة أبي جهل على فاطمة، وقول النبي ﷺ: "إنَّ فاطمة مني … " إلى آخره. فاستدراك الحاكم له ذهولٌ منه.
Reference / Source: It was narrated by Imam Ahmad (31/ 18913), al-Bukhari (3110), Muslim (2449) and in other books of the Six, with the chain of Ya'qub bin Ibrahim.
Details of the narration: It mentions 'Ali's proposal of marriage to the daughter of Abu Jahl and the saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "Fatimah is part of me", and so on.
Important point: Imam al-Hakim's including it as a supplement (istidrak) is an oversight ('dhuhul') on his part, since it is already in the two Sahihs.
