Mustadrak al-Hakim — Hadith 6271

وحدثنا أبو العبّاس محمد بن يعقوب، حَدَّثَنَا أحمد بن عيسى التَّنِّيسي، حَدَّثَنَا عمرو بن أبي سَلَمة، عن سعيد بن عبد العزيز قال: كان اسم أبي هريرة عبدَ غَنْم (2).
It is narrated from Sa'id bin Abd al-Aziz that the name of Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) (in the Days of Ignorance) was "Abd Ghanm".
