حَدَّثَنَا أبو بكر محمد بن أحمد بن بالَوَيهِ، حَدَّثَنَا عبد الله بن أحمد بن حَنبَل، حَدَّثَنَا أَبي، حَدَّثَنَا نوح بن يزيد، حَدَّثَنَا إبراهيم بن سعد قال: تُوفِّي سعدُ بن أبي وقّاص في زمن معاوية بعد حَجّتِه الأُولى، وهو ابن ثلاثٍ وثمانين سنة (3). قال أبو عبد الله: وأسلمَ سعدٌ وهو ابن تسعَ عشرةَ سنة.
It is narrated from Ibrahim bin Sa'd that Sayyiduna Sa'd bin Abi Waqqas (may Allah be pleased with him) died during the caliphate of Sayyiduna Mu'awiyah (may Allah be pleased with him), after his first Hajj, and at that time he was eighty-three years old. Imam al-Hakim says: Sayyiduna Sa'd (may Allah be pleased with him) accepted Islam at the age of nineteen.

Grading: Like the previous narration, its narrators are also thiqah (trustworthy), and it has already passed at number (6214). وأبو عبد الله القائل: "وأسلم سعد … " من المحتمل أن يكون المصنّف، أو أن يكون أحمد بن حنبل، والله أعلم. Identification of names: Regarding the "Abu 'Abdullah" who said "Sa'd accepted Islam", it is possible that he is the author himself (Imam al-Hakim) or Imam Ahmad bin Hanbal, and Allah knows best.
