It is narrated from Khalifah bin Khayyat that in that same year, that is 62 AH, Abu Sa'id Maslamah bin Mukhallad al-Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him) died in Egypt. He was its governor, and he was the first governor for whom the governorship of Egypt and the Maghrib was combined. Narrations are reported from him, and it is mentioned that when the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) passed away he was ten years old.
Mention of the merits of Sayyiduna Abu Ishaq Sa'd bin Abi Waqqas (may Allah be pleased with him).

Explanation & Benefits
Shaykh Adil Murshid et al.
Technical note / Defect ('illah): A corruption occurred in manuscript (B), where it has been written that "when the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was born he was ten years old" (which is a clear mistake).
58/ 60. Details of the narration: Waki' narrated, via Musa bin 'Ali bin Rabah from his father, this statement of Maslamah (bin Mukhallad): "I was born when the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) arrived in Madinah, and when he passed away I was ten years old." Reference / Source: Ibn Abi Shaybah (13/ 45), Ibn Abi 'Asim (2865), al-Tabarani (19/ 1060), al-Khatib al-Baghdadi (p. 57) and Ibn 'Asakir (58/ 60) narrated it from Waki'. Technical note / Defect ('illah): 'Abd al-Rahman bin Mahdi and Ma'n bin 'Isa contradicted Waki'; according to their narration Maslamah bin Mukhallad said: "When the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came to Madinah I was four years old, and when he passed away I was fourteen." Important point: Imam Ahmad bin Hanbal says that when Waki' and 'Abd al-Rahman bin Mahdi differ, 'Abd al-Rahman is more reliable (athbat); Imam al-Tabarani also declared the narration of 'Abd al-Rahman to be correct.
