حدثني أبو زُرْعة الرازي، حَدَّثَنَا محمد بن عُمير، حَدَّثَنَا ابن البَرْقي، حَدَّثَنَا عَمرو بن أبي سَلَمة، عن سعيد بن عبد العزيز التَّنُوخي قال: قَدِمَ أبو موسى الأشعري على النَّبِيِّ ﷺ، فدعا النَّبِيُّ ﷺ لأكبر أهلِ السفينة وأصغرهم، قال أبو عامر الأشعري: أنا أكبرُ أهل السفينة، وابني أصغرُهم، قال سعيد: وكان فيهم أبو عامر وأبو مالك وأبو موسى وكعب بن عاصم، أظنُّهم خرجوا بالأَبْواء (1).
It is narrated from Sa'id bin Abd al-Aziz al-Tanukhi that Sayyiduna Abu Musa al-Ash'ari (may Allah be pleased with him) came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) supplicated for the eldest and the youngest of the people of the ship. Sayyiduna Abu Amir al-Ash'ari (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I am the eldest of the people of the ship, and my son is the youngest. Sa'id says: Among them were Abu Amir, Abu Malik, Abu Musa and Ka'b bin Asim (may Allah be pleased with them). I think they set out from al-Abwa'.

(1) إسناده ضعيف لانقطاعه بين سعيد بن عبد العزيز التنوخي وبين أبي موسى الأشعري. أبو زرعة: هو أحمد بن الحسين بن علي الحافظ، وابن البرقي: هو أحمد بن عبد الله بن عبد الرحيم. وأخرجه ابن عساكر في "تاريخ دمشق" 25/ 433 من طريق سليمان بن أحمد الطبراني، عن بكر بن سهل، عن عبد الله بن يوسف، عن سعيد بن عبد العزيز التنوخي قال: قدم أبو موسى … فذكره.
Grading: Its chain is weak because there is "inqita'" (a break in the chain) between Sa'id bin Abd al-'Aziz al-Tanukhi and Abu Musa.
Important point: Abu Zur'ah refers to Ahmad bin al-Husayn bin 'Ali al-Hafiz, and Ibn al-Barqi refers to Ahmad bin Abd Allah bin Abd al-Rahim.
Reference / Source: Ibn 'Asakir narrated it through the route of Imam al-Tabarani from Sa'id bin Abd al-'Aziz.
وأورده الهيثمي في "المجمع" 9/ 358 وقال: رواه الطبراني منقطع الإسناد، وإسناده حسن.
Grading: 'Allamah al-Haythami said in "Majma' al-Zawa'id" (9/ 358) that although this narration of al-Tabarani has a broken chain, its chain is "hasan" on the basis of its narrators.
Grading: Its chain is weak because there is "inqita'" (a break in the chain) between Sa'id bin Abd al-'Aziz al-Tanukhi and Abu Musa.
