Mustadrak al-Hakim — Hadith 6019

حدثنا علي بن حَمْشَاذَ العَدْل، حدثنا علي بن عبد العزيز وموسى بن الحسن وعبد الله بن مِهْران الضَّرير، قالوا: حدثنا عَفّان، حدثنا حماد بن سَلَمة، عن محمد بن عَمرو، عن أبي سَلَمة، عن أبي هريرة، قال: قال رسول الله ﷺ: "ابنا العاصِ مُؤمنانِ: هشامٌ وعَمرٌو (1).

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The two sons of al-As are believers: Hisham and Amr (may Allah be pleased with them both)."

Grading: Its chain is "hasan" because of Muhammad bin 'Amr (Ibn 'Alqamah al-Laythi). 'Affan is Ibn Muslim,
وأبو سلمة: هو ابن عبد الرحمن بن عوف، وموسى بن الحسن: هو البغدادي، وعبد الله بن مهران
Technical note / Defect ('illah): And Abu Salamah is Ibn 'Abd al-Rahman bin 'Awf, Musa bin al-Hasan is al-Baghdadi, and 'Abd Allah bin Mihran
الضرير: هو ابن الحسن النحوي.
Technical note / Defect ('illah): Al-Darir is Ibn al-Hasan al-Nahwi.
وقد تقدَّم برقم (5130) من طريق حجاج بن مِنْهال عن حماد بن سلمة.
Note / Clarification: It has already passed under number (5130) by way of Hajjaj bin Minhal, from Hammad bin Salamah.
