أخبرنا أبو جعفر البغدادي، حدثنا أبو عُلَاثة محمد بن عمرو، حدثنا أبي، حدثنا ابن لَهِيعة، حدثنا أبو الأسود، عن عُروة، في تسميةِ مَن شَهِدَ بدرًا مع رسول الله ﷺ من بني زَعُوراء بن عبد الأشْهَل: محمدُ بن مسلَمةَ بن خالد بن عَدِي بن مَجْدَعةَ بن الحارث (1).
It is narrated from Urwah (may Allah have mercy on him), in the naming of the Companions from Banu Za'ura' bin Abd al-Ashhal who took part in the Battle of Badr with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), that Sayyiduna Muhammad bin Maslamah (may Allah be pleased with him) was among them.

Reference / Source: Al-Tabarani narrated it in "al-Mu'jam al-Kabir" (19/494), and from him Abu Nu'aym in "Ma'rifat al-Sahabah" (581), from Abu Ulathah Muhammad bin Amr bin Khalid al-Harrani, with this chain.
