حدثنا أبو العباس محمدُ بن يعقوب، أخبرنا العباس بن الوليد بن مَزْيَدٍ البَيْروتيّ، حدثنا محمد بن شُعيب، حدثنا سعيد بن عبد العزيز، قال: سمعت مَكحُولًا يقول: سمعتُ زياد بن جاريةَ التَّمِيميَّ يقول: سمعتُ حَبِيب بن مَسْلَمة يقول: شهدتُ رسول الله ﷺ نَفّلَ الثُّلُثَ. (4). ذكرُ مناقب أبي رِفَاعةَ عبدِ الله بن الحارث العَدَويّ ﵁ -
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Habib bin Maslamah (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: I was present when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) gave one third (of the spoils to the fighters) as a reward (nafl).

(4) إسناده صحيح. محمد بن شعيب: هو ابن شابُور، وسعيد بن عبد العزيز: هو التَّنُوخي.
Grading: Its chain is sahih. Muhammad bin Shu'ayb is Ibn Shabur, and Sa'id bin Abd al-Aziz is al-Tanukhi.
وأخرجه أحمد 29/ (17463) عن عبد الرحمن بن مهدي، و (17466) عن يحيى بن سعيد القطان، كلاهما عن سعيد بن عبد العزيز، بهذا الإسناد.
Reference / Source: Ahmad narrated it at (29/17463) from Abd al-Rahman bin Mahdi, and at (17466) from Yahya bin Sa'id al-Qattan. Both of them narrate it from Sa'id bin Abd al-Aziz, with this chain.
وقد تقدَّم عند المصنف برقم (2631) من طريق أبي وهب عُبيد الله بن عُبيدٍ الكَلَاعِي، و (2632) من طريق يزيد بن يزيد بن جابر، و (5563) من طريق ثابت بن ثوبان ثلاثتهم عن مكحول.
Note / Clarification: It has already passed with the author at number (2631) through the route of Abu Wahb Ubayd Allah bin Ubayd al-Kala'i, at (2632) through the route of Yazid bin Yazid bin Jabir, and at (5563) through the route of Thabit bin Thawban. All three of them narrate it from Makhul.
