Mustadrak al-Hakim 5937 — The virtues of Abdullah bin Adi bin al-Hamra
حدَّثَنا أبو العباس محمد بن يعقوب، حدثنا أحمد بن عبد الجبار، حدثنا يونس بن بُكَير، عن ابن إسحاقَ، قال: وعَبد الله بن عَدِيّ بن الحَمْراء بن رَبيعة بن أبي عَمرو بن أُهيب بن عِلَاج بن عبد العُزَّى، وأمُّه بنت شَريق بن عمرو ابن أُهَيب أختُ الأخْنَس بن شَرِيق (4).
It is narrated from Ibn Ishaq that the mother of Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Adi bin al-Hamra' al-Thaqafi was the daughter of Shariq bin Amr bin Uhayb, the sister of al-Akhnas bin Shariq.
