Abu al-Baddah bin Asim bin Adi narrates from his father that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) granted the camel herders a concession to stay (outside Mina during the nights of the days of Tashriq), on condition that they stone on the Day of Sacrifice (10 Dhu al-Hijjah), then stone (together) on the next day or the day after it, and then stone on the day of departure (Yawm al-Nafr).
This hadith has a sahih (authentic) chain. Imam Malik bin Anas narrated it in the best way, while others slipped in it, and the two Shaykhs did not record it.
