Explanation & Benefits
Shaykh Adil Murshid et al.
Note / Clarification: In manuscripts (Z) and (B) it is "Ahmad bin Ubaydullah" (with the word Allah added), whereas the correct form is what is in (S): "Ahmad bin Ubayd", and he is Ibn Ja'far al-Asadi. See "Siyar A'lam al-Nubala'" (15/ 380). In manuscript (Z) a tadbib (doubt mark) has been placed over the word Allah, and in (M) it has been corrupted into "Ahmad bin Abd".

Grading: Its chain is sahih.
Technical note / Defect ('illah): Ibrahim bin al-Husayn is Ibn Dizil, Abu al-Yaman is al-Hakam bin Nafi', and Shu'ayb is Ibn Abi Hamzah.
