حدثنا أبو العباس محمد بن يعقوب، حدثنا العباس بن محمد الدُّوري، حدثنا علي بن حكيم، حدثنا شَريكٌ، قال: ذَكَروا في مجلسه أُويسًا القَرَني، فقال: قُتِل مع عليّ بن أبي طالب ﵁ في الرَّجّالة (1).

Abbas bin Muhammad al-Duri states that Sayyiduna Uways al-Qarani (may Allah be pleased with him) was mentioned in the gathering of Sharik, and he said that he was martyred alongside Sayyiduna Ali bin Abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with him) among the foot-soldiers.
