حدثني علي بن حَمْشَاذَ العَدْل، حدثنا بِشْر بن موسى، حدثنا الحُمَيدي، حدثنا علي بن عبد الحميد بن زياد بن صَيفي بن صهيب، حدثني أبي، عن أبيه، عن جده، عن صهيب، عن النبي ﷺ قال: "لا تُبغِضوا (3) صُهيبًا" (4). صحيح الإسناد، ولم يُخرجاه.
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Suhayb (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Do not bear hatred towards Suhayb."
The chain of this hadith is sahih (authentic), but the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim) did not record it.

(3) في (ز): تغُضُّوا، والمعنى: تَنقُصوا.
Note / Clarification: Manuscript (Z) has "taghuddu", which means: to reduce (diminish).
(4) إسناده ضعيف لجهالة حال علي بن عبد الحميد وأبيه.
Grading: Its chain is da'if (weak).
Technical note / Defect ('illah): The reason is that the condition of Ali bin Abd al-Hamid and his father is unknown (majhul).
وأخرجه أبو جعفر العقيلي في "الضعفاء" (979)، ومن طريقه ابن عساكر 24/ 234 عن بشر بن موسى، بهذا الإسناد.
Reference / Source: Abu Ja'far al-Uqayli narrated it in "al-Du'afa'" (979), and by his route Ibn Asakir (24/ 234), from Bishr bin Musa, with this same chain.
