It is narrated from Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) that Sayyiduna Abu Bakr al-Siddiq (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I was the first to return to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) (on the day of Uhud), and with him was Sayyiduna Talhah bin Ubaydullah (may Allah be pleased with him). Sayyiduna Talhah (may Allah be pleased with him) had been overcome at that time, while the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was in a better state than him. So the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said to us: "Attend to your companion (Talhah)." So we left him (peace and blessings be upon him) and turned to him, and we saw that the rings of his helmet had sunk into his cheeks. Between him and the east there was a man, and I was closer to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) than he was; and it turned out to be Sayyiduna Abu Ubaydah bin al-Jarrah (may Allah be pleased with him). I went forward to pull out the rings of the helmet, but Sayyiduna Abu Ubaydah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: O Abu Bakr! I adjure you by Allah to let me do this. So I left him, and he pulled it out (with his teeth), and one of his front teeth came out. Then I went forward to pull out the other ring, and Sayyiduna Abu Ubaydah (may Allah be pleased with him) said the same again. He pulled out the other ring as well, and his other front tooth also came out. Then the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Indeed, your companion (Talhah) has made (Paradise) obligatory for himself," or "Talhah has made it obligatory (awjaba)."
This hadith is sahih (authentic) on the condition of Muslim, and the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim) did not record it.

Explanation & Benefits
Shaykh Adil Murshid et al.
Grading: (1) Its chain is very weak (da'if jiddan) on account of Ishaq bin Yahya bin Talhah, who is matruk (abandoned), as al-Dhahabi pointed out in his "Talkhis". It has already passed at number (4361) through another route from him.
