Mustadrak al-Hakim — Hadith 5685

It is narrated from Ibn Shihab al-Zuhri that Sayyiduna Talhah bin Ubaydullah bin Uthman bin Amr bin Ka'b bin Sa'd bin Taym bin Murrah (may Allah be pleased with him) arrived from Syria after the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) had returned from Badr. He spoke to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) about his share (of the spoils), and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to him: "Your share is (established) for you." He said: O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)! Is there a reward for me as well? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "And your reward is for you as well."
