It is narrated from Sayyiduna Urwah (may Allah be pleased with him) that Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) said to me: "O my son! Indeed, your father is among those of whom it is said: 'Those who responded to Allah and the Messenger after injury had struck them.' [Surah Al Imran: 172]"
This hadith is sahih (authentic) on the condition of the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim), but they did not record it.

Explanation & Benefits
Shaykh Adil Murshid et al.
Grading: (2) Its chain is sahih. Note / Clarification: "Al-Bahi" is 'Abdullah, and 'Urwah is "Ibn al-Zubayr bin al-'Awwam". Reference / Source: Muslim (2418) (52) narrated it via Waki' bin al-Jarrah, from Isma'il bin Abi Khalid, with this chain. Technical note / Defect ('illah): So al-Hakim's including it (in al-Mustadrak) is an oversight on his part. Details of the narration: This narration has already passed at number (3204) via Hisham bin 'Urwah, from his father, from 'A'ishah (may Allah be pleased with her), that she said to 'Abdullah bin al-Zubayr: O son of my sister! By Allah, your father and your grandfather (meaning Abu Bakr and al-Zubayr, may Allah be pleased with them) were among those of whom Allah the Mighty and Majestic said … (the verse). Technical note / Defect ('illah): So in this narration Hisham made 'A'ishah's address to "'Abdullah bin al-Zubayr", not to "'Urwah".
