أخبرنا محمد بن علي الصَّنْعاني بمكة، حادثنا إسحاق بن إبراهيم الدَّبري، أخبرنا عبد الرزاق، عن ابن جُريج، عن أيوب بن موسى، عن هشام بن عُروة، عن أبيه، عن عبد الله بن الأرقم قال: قال رسول الله ﷺ: "إذا أُقيمت الصلاةُ وبأحدكم الغائطُ، فليبدأ بالغائطِ" (1).
هذا حديث صحيح الإسناد، ولم يُخرجاه. ذكرُ مناقب عبد الله بن زيد بن عبد رَبِّه الأنصاري صاحبِ الأذان

Hisham bin Urwah narrates from his father, who narrates from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin al-Arqam (may Allah be pleased with him), that he said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When the prayer is about to begin and one of you needs to relieve himself, he should first relieve himself."
This hadith has an authentic (sahih) chain of narration, but the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim) did not record it.

(1) إسناده صحيح، وابن جُريج - واسمه عبد الملك بن عبد العزيز بن جُريج - صرح بسماعه من أيوب بن موسى - وهو ابن عَمرو الأُموي - عند أبي نعيم في "معرفة الصحابة" (3994)، وهو متابع أيضًا فيما تقدم برقم (957)
Grading: (1) Its chain is sahih.
Technical note / Defect ('illah): Ibn Jurayj (whose name is Abd al-Malik bin Abd al-Aziz bin Jurayj) explicitly stated that he heard from Ayyub bin Musa (who is Ibn 'Amr al-Umawi), in Abu Nu'aym's "Ma'rifat al-Sahabah" (3994). He is also corroborated, as has already passed under number (957).
