أخبرنا أبو عبد الله محمد بن عبد الله الصَّفَّار، حدثنا أحمد بن مِهْران الأصبَهاني، حدثنا عُبيد الله بن موسى، أخبرنا إسرائيلُ، عن عبد الأعلى، عن سعيد بن جُبَير، عن ابن عباس، قال: قال رسول الله ﷺ: "العباسُ منِّي وأنا منه" (1). صحيح الإسناد، ولم يُخرجاه.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Al-Abbas is from me and I am from him."

(1) إسناده ضعيف لضعف عبد الأعلى: وهو ابن عامر الثعلبي.
Grading: Its chain is da'if because of the weakness of Abd al-A'la (Ibn 'Amir al-Tha'labi).
وأخرجه الترمذي (3759) عن القاسم بن زكريا الكوفي، والنسائي (6951) و (8117) عن أحمد بن سليمان الرُّهاوي، كلاهما عن عُبيد الله بن موسى، بهذا الإسناد. وقال الترمذي: حسن صحيح غريب، لا نعرفه إلّا من حديث إسرائيل!
Reference / Source: It was recorded by al-Tirmidhi (3759) from al-Qasim bin Zakariyya al-Kufi, and by al-Nasa'i (6951, 8117) from Ahmad bin Sulayman al-Ruhawi, both from 'Ubaydullah bin Musa, with this same chain. Al-Tirmidhi said: "It is hasan sahih gharib; we know it only from the hadith of Isra'il!"
