حدَّثنا أبو العباس محمد بن يعقوب، حدَّثنا هارون بن سليمان، حدَّثنا عبد الرحمن بن مَهدي، عن مالك، عن هشام بن عُرْوة، عن أبيه: أنَّ النبي ﷺ قال لعبد الرحمن: "كيف صنعتَ يا أبا محمدٍ في استِلامِ الحَجَر؟ " قال: استلمتُ وتَركتُ، قال: "أصبتَ يا أبا محمدٍ" (2).

Hisham bin Urwah narrates from his father that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked Sayyiduna Abd al-Rahman bin Awf (may Allah be pleased with him): "O Abu Muhammad! What did you do when touching the Black Stone?" He said: "I touched it when I had the chance and left it when there was a crowd." The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "O Abu Muhammad! You did right."

(2) حديث صحيح، وهذا إسناد رجاله ثقات، لكنه اختُلف فيه على هشام بن عروة في وصله وإرساله كما تقدم برقم (5420).
