أخبرنا عبد الرحمن بن الحسن القاضي بهَمَذان، حدثنا إبراهيم بن الحسين، حدثنا آدم بن أبي إياس، حدثنا شُعبْة. وأخبرني الحسين بن علي، حدثنا محمد بن إسحاق، حدثنا محمد بن المثنَّى، حدثنا محمد بن جعفر، حدثنا شعبة، عن يحيى بن أبي سُلَيم، قال: سمعت عمرَو بن ميمون يحدِّث عن أبي هريرة، أنَّ رسول الله ﷺ قال: "ألَا أُعلمُك" أو "ألا أَدُلُّك على كلمةٍ مِن تحتِ العرش مِن كَنْز الجنة، تقول: لا حولَ ولا قوةَ إلَّا بالله، فيقول الله ﷿: أَسلَمَ عبدي واستَسلمَ" (1).
هذا حديث صحيح ولا يُحفَظ له عِلَّة، ولم يُخرجاه، وقد احتجَّ مسلم بيحيى بن أبي سليم (2).

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Shall I not teach you a treasure of Paradise from beneath the Throne (or he said: shall I not guide you to it)? Say: 'La hawla wa la quwwata illa billah' ((There is no) ability (to turn away from disobedience to Allah) and no strength (to do good) except by the enablement of Allah). Then Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, says: 'My servant has submitted and surrendered himself to Me.'"
This is a sahih (authentic) hadith and no hidden defect ('illah) is known in it; although the two of them (Imam Bukhari and Muslim) did not record it, Imam Muslim used Yahya bin Abi Sulaym as evidence.

(1) حديث صحيح، وهذا إسناد حسن من أجل يحيى بن أبي سليم، وهو أبو بَلْج، مشهور بكنيته، وعبد الرحمن بن الحسن شيخ المصنف - وإن كان ضعيفًا - قد توبع.
Grading: (1) The hadith is "sahih", and this chain is "hasan" because of Yahya bin Abi Sulaym, who is "Abu Balj" and is well known by his kunyah. The author's shaykh, Abd al-Rahman bin al-Hasan, although da'if, has been corroborated.
وأخرجه أحمد 13/ (7966) عن هاشم بن القاسم ومحمد بن جعفر، بهذا الإسناد.

Technical note / Defect ('illah): (2) So (the author) said! Yet Imam Muslim recorded nothing at all from Yahya bin Abi Sulaym.
