It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) that he went in to his brother al-Bara' while he was lying on his back with one foot placed over the other, humming. Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) forbade him, and al-Bara' (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "Do you fear that I will die on my bed, when I have single-handedly killed a hundred of the disbelievers, apart from those in whose killing other people shared with me?"
This hadith is sahih (authentic) on the condition of the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim), but they did not record it.

Grading: (1) This report is "sahih" (authentic), and this chain is "qawi" (strong) because of "Abu Qilabah" (Abd al-Malik bin Muhammad al-Raqashi). It has been narrated from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) through several routes. Reference / Source: Ma'mar bin Rashid recorded it in "al-Jami'" (19742), Ahmad bin Mani' in his "Musnad" (as in "al-Matalib al-Aliyah" 4086), Abu al-Qasim al-Baghawi in "Mu'jam al-Sahabah" (151, 152), al-Tabarani in "al-Mu'jam al-Kabir" (691, 692, 1178, 1179), Ibn Mandah in "Ma'rifat al-Sahabah" (pp. 285-286), and Abu Nu'aym in "Hilyat al-Awliya'" (1/ 350), "al-Imamah wa al-Radd 'ala al-Rafidah" (38) and "Ma'rifat al-Sahabah" (1149, 1150), through the route of Muhammad bin Sirin; Ibn Sa'd (4/ 331) and Abu Nu'aym in "Ma'rifat al-Sahabah" (1151) through the route of Thabit bin Aslam al-Bunani; and Ibn Abi Shaybah in "al-Musannaf" (5/ 312 and 8/ 698) through the route of Mus'ab bin Sulaym. All three (Ibn Sirin, Thabit and Mus'ab) narrate from Anas bin Malik. Grading: Ibn Hajar declared the chain of Muhammad bin Sirin "sahih" in "al-Isabah" (1/ 280). We (the editors) say: the other two routes are also "sahih".
