أخبرنا محمد بن القاسم بن عبد الرحمن العَتَكي، حدثنا الفضل بن محمد الشَّعْراني، حدثنا نُعيم بن حماد، حدثنا ابن المُبارك، عن معمر، عن الزُّهْرِي، عن عُرْوة: أنَّ النجاشي بعث أمَّ حَبيبة إلى النبيِّ ﷺ مع شُرحْبيلَ بن حَسَنةَ (6).
It is narrated from Urwah that the Negus sent Sayyidah Umm Habibah (may Allah be pleased with her) to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) with Shurahbil bin Hasanah.

(6) صحيح، وهذا إسناد رجاله لا بأس بهم، لكنه اختُلف في إرساله ووصله بذكر أم حبيبة كما قدمنا بيانه برقم (2776)، وأنَّ وصله صحيح. عروة: هو ابن الزبير بن العوام.
Grading: (6) This hadith is sahih. There is no harm in the narrators of this chain, but there is disagreement over whether it is mursal or mawsul (with mention of Umm Habibah), as explained under number (2776), and its mawsul form is the correct one. "'Urwah" refers to Ibn al-Zubayr bin al-'Awwam.
وأخرجه ابن الجارود (714)، وأبو بكر بن زياد النيسابوري في "زياداته على مختصر المزني" (443) عن محمد بن يحيى الذُّهلي، والطحاوي في "شرح مشكل الآثار" (5061) عن فهد بن سليمان، ويحيى بن عثمان، ثلاثتهم عن نُعيم بن حماد به. موصولًا بذكر أم حبيبة.
Reference / Source: Ibn al-Jarud (714) recorded it, as did Abu Bakr bin Ziyad al-Naysaburi in "Ziyadatuhu 'ala Mukhtasar al-Muzani" (443) from Muhammad bin Yahya al-Dhuhli, and al-Tahawi in "Sharh Mushkil al-Athar" (5061) from Fahd bin Sulayman and Yahya bin 'Uthman. All three of them (Muhammad bin Yahya, Fahd and Yahya bin 'Uthman) narrate it from Nu'aym bin Hammad with this chain, in connected (mawsul) form (with mention of Umm Habibah (may Allah be pleased with her)).
وتقدَّم عند المصنف برقم (2776) من طريق مُعلّى بن منصور عن ابن المبارك موصولًا كذلك.
Reference / Source: This narration has already passed with the author (al-Hakim) under number (2776) by way of Mu'alla bin Mansur from 'Abd Allah bin al-Mubarak, and there too it is likewise connected (mawsul).
