Mustadrak al-Hakim — Hadith 5255

(2) أي: الذي يزيد في سنِّه يقول: مات ابن ثنتين وثلاثين.
Note / Clarification: (2) That is: the narrator who gives him a greater age says that he died at the age of "thirty-two (32) years".

(3) وأخرجه ابن حبان في "الثقات" 3/ 369، والطبراني في "الكبير" 20/ (38)، وأبو نعيم في "معرفة الصحابة" (5946)، وابن عساكر 58/ 457 من طرق عن سعيد بن أبي مريم، بهذا الإسناد.
Reference / Source: (3) It was recorded by Ibn Hibban in "al-Thiqat" (3/369), al-Tabarani in "al-Mu'jam al-Kabir" (20/(38)), Abu Nu'aym in "Ma'rifat al-Sahabah" (5946) and Ibn 'Asakir (58/457) through various routes from Sa'id bin Abi Maryam, with this chain.
وأخرجه الطبراني 20/ (39)، ومن طريقه ابن عساكر 58/ 457 من طريق عبد الله بن لَهِيعة، عن عُمارة بن غَزيّة، به.

وسيأتي عن يحيى بن سعيد الأنصاري لاحقًا قولٌ آخر في سن معاذ يوم قُبض، وما هنا عنه أصحُّ.
Details of the narration: Another statement from Yahya bin Sa'id al-Ansari about the age of Mu'adh (may Allah be pleased with him) at the time of his death will come shortly, but this one (mentioned here) is the more authentic of what is narrated from him.
