Muhammad bin Umar narrates from his shaykhs that Abdullah bin Amr bin Haram (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "Before the Battle of Uhud I saw in a dream that Mubashshir bin Abd al-Mundhir was saying to me: 'You will be coming to us within a few days.' I asked: 'Where are you?' He said: 'In Paradise; we roam about in it wherever we wish.' I asked him: 'Were you not martyred on the day of Badr?' He said: 'Of course, then I was brought back to life.'" He mentioned this to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), and he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "O Abu Jabir, this is the glad tidings of martyrdom." An account of the virtues of Hanzalah bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him), whose father Abdullah's kunyah was Abu Amir bin Abd Amr al-Ansari; he is the same Hanzalah whom the angels washed.
