Mustadrak al-Hakim — Hadith 4972

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with them both); he said: By Allah, my father drank wine in the early morning on the day of Uhud (as it had not yet been made unlawful). Then in the morning he went to the battlefield and fought alongside the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) at Uhud until he was martyred.
This hadith is sahih (authentic) on the condition of Imam Muslim, but the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim) did not record it.
