It is narrated from Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her); she said: I did not feel as much jealousy towards any woman as I felt towards Khadijah, even though the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) married me after her death. That was because the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) had given her the glad tidings of a house of pearls in Paradise in which there will be no clamour and no toil.
This hadith is sahih (authentic) on the condition of the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim), and they did not record it.

Explanation & Benefits
Shaykh Adil Murshid et al.
Grading: The chain of this hadith is sahih. Technical note / Defect ('illah): The "Muhammad bin Ishaq" mentioned in the chain here is Imam Ibn Khuzaymah, and "Abu 'Ammar" is al-Husayn bin Hurayth. Reference / Source: Imam al-Tirmidhi (3876) and Imam al-Nasa'i (8304) also cited this narration. They narrated it with this same chain from Abu 'Ammar al-Husayn bin Hurayth. Grading: Imam al-Tirmidhi said: This hadith is "hasan sahih". Note / Clarification: The word "min qasab" (of reed/tube) in the hadith means a hollow or tube of pearl. 2/ 351. Reference / Source: Imam Ahmad (40/24310) and (42/25658), Imam al-Bukhari (6004) and (7484), and Imam Muslim (2435) cited this hadith by way of Abu Usamah Hammad bin Usamah. Also Imam al-Bukhari (3816) narrated it by way of al-Layth bin Sa'd, and (3817) by way of Humayd bin 'Abd al-Rahman al-Ru'asi; then Imam al-Bukhari (5229) and al-Nasa'i (8303) by way of al-Nadr bin Shumayl, and Ibn Majah (1997) by way of 'Abdah bin Sulayman. Details of the narration: All these narrators narrate from Hisham bin 'Urwah. Their wording is: "Ma ghirtu 'ala imra'atin qattu ..." (I was never as jealous of any woman as I was of Khadijah ...). None of them mentioned the words: "la sakhaba fihi wa-la nasab" (in which there is neither clamour nor toil). Corroborating chains and supporting reports: However, in the hadith of Sayyidah 'A'ishah (may Allah be pleased with her), al-Fadl bin Musa was corroborated on these words ("la sakhab ...") by Yunus bin Bukayr, as mentioned in Imam al-Bayhaqi's "al-Sunan al-Kubra" (7/307) and in his "Dala'il al-Nubuwwah" (2/351). Reference / Source: This narration was cited in abridged form (only with the mention of Sayyidah 'A'ishah's jealousy of Sayyidah Khadijah) by these scholars: Imam Ahmad (43/26387) from 'Amir bin Salih al-Zubayri; Imam al-Bukhari (3818), Muslim (2435), al-Tirmidhi (2017) and (3875) by way of Hafs bin Ghiyath; Imam Muslim (2435) by way of Abu Mu'awiyah al-Darir; and al-Nasa'i (8305) and (8864) by way of Humayd bin 'Abd al-Rahman al-Ru'asi. General principle: All these narrators transmit this narration from Hisham bin 'Urwah. Details of the narration: After this, the narration will come by way of Ma'mar bin Rashid, from Hisham, mentioning only the "jealousy", without mention of the "glad tidings" (of a house in Paradise). Note / Clarification: The mention of the glad tidings given to Sayyidah Khadijah (may Allah be pleased with her) of a house in Paradise has already passed under number (4910) by way of 'Amir bin Salih, from Hisham bin 'Urwah.
