حدثني بُكير بن أحمد الحدّاد الصُّوفي بمكة، حدثنا سَهْل بن سليمان النِّيلِي بواسط، حدثنا منصور بن المُهاجِر، حدثنا محمد بن الحجّاج، حدثنا سفيان بن حُسين، عن الزُّهْري، قال: قال رسول الله ﷺ: "الحمدُ لله الذي أطعَمني الخَمِيرَ، وألبَسَني الحَريَر، وزوَّجني خديجةَ، وكنتُ لها عاشِقًا" (2).
It is narrated from Imam al-Zuhri (may Allah have mercy on him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "All praise is for Allah, who fed me bread of fine flour, clothed me in silk, and married me to Khadijah, while I was devoted to her."
