حدثني أبو الوليد الإمام، حدثنا أحمد بن الحسن بن عبد الجبار، حدثنا محمد بن إسحاق المُسيَّبي، حدثني عبد الله بن محمد بن يحيى بن عُروة بن الزُّبير، عن هشام بن عُرْوة، قال: توفيت خديجةُ بنت خويلد ﵂ وهي ابنةُ خمس وستين سنة (2). هذا قولٌ شاذٌّ، فإنَّ الذي عندي أنها لم تبلغ ستين سنةً.
It is narrated from Hisham bin Urwah that when Sayyidah Khadijah bint Khuwaylid (may Allah be pleased with her) died, she was 65 years old.
This is an anomalous (shadh) view, because in my view the reliable position is that she did not reach 60 years of age.

(2) عبد الله بن محمد بن يحيى بن عُرْوة بن الزُّبير متروك الحديث، لكن روي مثل هذا القول عن حكيم بن حزام عند ابن سعد 10/ 19 وأسنده أيضًا عن غيره، كل ذلك عن شيخه محمد بن عمر الواقدي، وبه جزم الواقديُّ. ونحوه قال الزبير بن بكار، فقد نقل عنه ابن الأثير في "أسد الغابة" 6/ 80، والذهبي في "تاريخ الإسلام" 1/ 615: أنَّ النبي ﷺ تزوج خديجة وعمرها حينئذٍ أربعين سنة، وأقامت معه أربعًا وعشرين سنة.
Grading of the chain: 'Abd Allah bin Muhammad bin Yahya bin 'Urwah bin al-Zubayr is "matruk al-hadith". But a similar statement is narrated from Hakim bin Hizam in Ibn Sa'd (10/19), who transmitted it through al-Waqidi, and al-Waqidi stated it decisively. Al-Zubayr bin Bakkar also said the same (as cited in "Usd al-Ghabah" 6/80 and "Tarikh al-Islam" 1/615): that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) married Khadijah when she was 40 years old, and she remained with him for 24 years.
وصحَّح مصعب بن عبد الله الزبيري فيما أسنده عنه البيهقي في "دلائل النبوة" 2/ 70 - 71: أنها بلغت خمسين سنة، وهذا غريب.
Another view: Mus'ab bin 'Abd Allah al-Zubayri (as cited by al-Bayhaqi in "Dala'il al-Nubuwwah" 2/70-71) held it correct that she reached 50 years, and this is "gharib" (odd).
وحُكم المصنف على رواية الخمس والستين بالشذوذ لا محلَّ له.
Critique: The author's (al-Hakim's) ruling of "shudhudh" (anomaly) on the narration of 65 years is misplaced.
