أخبرني أبو بكر محمد بن أحمد بن بالَوَيهِ، حدثنا عبد الله بن أحمد بن حنبل، حدثني أحمد بن محمد بن أيوب، حدثنا إبراهيم بن سعد، عن محمد بن إسحاق: أنَّ أبا طالب وخَديجة بنت خُويلد هَلَكا في عام واحدٍ، وذلك قبلَ مُهاجَر النبيِّ ﷺ إلى المدينة بثلاثِ سِنين، ودُفنت خَديجةُ بالحَجُون، ونزل في قبرها رسولُ الله ﷺ، وكان لها يومَ تزوَّجَها ثمان وعشرون سنةً. قال محمدٌ: وكُنية خديجة ﵂ أمُّ هند، وكان لها ابنٌ وابنةٌ حيث تزوجها رسول الله، وأمُّ خديجة فاطمةُ بنت زائدة بن الأصَمّ، وأمُّها هالة بنت عبد مَناف (1).
It is narrated from Muhammad bin Ishaq that Abu Talib and Khadijah bint Khuwaylid (may Allah be pleased with her) died in the same year, and that was three years before the Prophet's (peace and blessings be upon him) emigration to Madinah. Sayyidah Khadijah (may Allah be pleased with her) was buried at al-Hajun (cemetery), and the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) himself went down into her grave. At the time he (peace and blessings be upon him) married her, she was 28 years old. Muhammad bin Ishaq said: The kunyah of Sayyidah Khadijah was Umm Hind. At the time of her marriage to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), she had a son and a daughter. Khadijah's mother was Fatimah bint Za'idah bin al-Asamm, and her mother was Halah bint Abd Manaf.

(1) وروي عن حكيم بن حزام عند ابن سعد 10/ 19 نحو هذا الذي قاله محمد بن إسحاق هنا، إلَّا في سنّ خديجة لما تزوجها رسول الله ﷺ فلم يذكره حكيم بن حزام، وقد روي مثل قول ابن إسحاق في سنها يوم تزوجها النبي ﷺ عن ابن عبّاس عند ابن سعد 10/ 18، لكن بسند واهٍ إليه.
Takhrij / Mention of her age: Something like the statement of Ibn Ishaq is narrated from Hakim bin Hizam in Ibn Sa'd (10/19), except for Khadijah's age at the time of her marriage, which Hakim did not mention. A statement like Ibn Ishaq's about her age at the time of marriage is narrated from Ibn 'Abbas in Ibn Sa'd (10/18), but its chain is "wahi" (very weak).
والمشهور في سنها يوم تزوجها رسول الله ﷺ أنها كانت ابنة أربعين سنة، كذلك رواه الواقدي من طرق عند ابن سعد 10/ 18 و 206، وقال: ونحن نقول ومن عندنا من أهل العلم: إنَّ خديجة كانت يوم تزوجها رسول الله ﷺ بنت أربعين سنة.
The well-known view: The well-known view about her age at the time of the marriage is that she was "40 years" old. Al-Waqidi narrated this through several routes in Ibn Sa'd (10/18, 206) and said: "We, and the people of knowledge with us, say that Khadijah was 40 years old at the time of the marriage."
وأما ولد خديجة من غير النبي ﷺ، فذكر ابن سعد 10/ 16 أنَّ خديجة ولدت لأبي هالة ولدين هما هند وهالة، ولعَتيق بنتًا هند، فلها ولدان وابنة، وانظر تراجمهم في "الإصابة" لابن حجر 6/ 517 و 557 و 8/ 157. وذكر الزبير بن بكار فيما أسنده عنه أبو نُعيم في "المعرفة" (7360) أنَّ الثلاثة ذكورٌ.
Khadijah's children (from earlier marriages): Ibn Sa'd (10/16) mentioned that Khadijah had two children by Abu Halah: Hind and Halah; and a daughter, Hind, by 'Atiq. That is, two sons and one daughter. (See "al-Isabah" 6/517, 557 and 8/157.) Al-Zubayr bin Bakkar (as cited by Abu Nu'aym in "al-Ma'rifah" 7360) mentioned that all three were "male".
