حدَّثَناه أبو العباس محمد بن يعقوب، حدثنا يزيد بن عبد الصمد الدمشقي، حدثنا نُعيم بن حمّاد، حدثنا عبد الله بن المبارك، أخبرنا معمر، عن الزُّهْري، عن أنس بن مالك، قال: لم يكن في ولدِ عليٍّ أشبه برسول الله ﷺ من الحَسن (2).

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) that among the children of Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) there was none who resembled the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) more than Sayyiduna Hasan (may Allah be pleased with him).

(2) حديث صحيح، وهذا إسناد حسن من أجل نُعيم بن حماد، وقد توبع. معمر: هو ابن راشد، والزُّهري: هو محمد بن مسلم بن عبيد الله.
Grading: This hadith is "sahih", and this chain is "hasan" because of Nu'aym bin Hammad, and he has been corroborated. Ma'mar is "Ibn Rashid" and al-Zuhri is "Muhammad bin Muslim bin 'Ubaydullah".
وأخرجه أحمد 20 / (12674)، والترمذي (3776)، وابن حبان (6973) من طريق عبد الرزاق، وأحمد (13054) عن عبد الأعلى بن عبد الأعلى، والبخاري (3752) من طريق هشام بن يوسف الصنعاني ثلاثتهم عن معمر بن راشد، به.
Reference / Sources: Ahmad (20/ 12674), al-Tirmidhi (3776) and Ibn Hibban (6973) narrated it by way of 'Abd al-Razzaq; Ahmad (13054) from 'Abd al-A'la bin 'Abd al-A'la; and al-Bukhari (3752) by way of Hisham bin Yusuf al-San'ani. All three of them narrate it from Ma'mar bin Rashid, with this chain.
