حدثنا أبو العباس محمد بن يعقوب، حدثنا الحسن بن علي بن عفّان، حدثنا عبد الحميد بن عبد الرحمن الحِمّاني، حدثنا الحكم بن عبد الرحمن بن أبي نُعْم، عن أبيه، عن أبي سعيد الخدري، عن النبي ﷺ أنه قال: "الحَسنُ والحُسينُ سيِّدا شبابِ أهل الجنة إِلَّا ابنَي الخالة" (1)
هذا حديث قد صح من أوجهٍ كثيرةٍ، وأنا أتعجّب أنهما لم يخرجاه.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Hasan and Husayn are the leaders of the youth of the people of Paradise, except for the two maternal cousins (Isa and Yahya, peace be upon them both)."
This hadith is established as sahih (authentic) through many chains, and I am astonished that the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim) did not record it.

(1) صحيح دون ذكر ابني الخالة يعني عيسى ابن مريم ويحيى بن زكريا كما سُمِّيا عند بعض من خرجه، وهذا إسناد حسنٌ من أجل الحكم بن عبد الرحمن بن أبي نعم، فهو مختلف فيه حسن الحديث. وقد تُوبع عليه دون الاستثناء المذكور.
Grading: This hadith is "sahih" except for the mention of the two maternal cousins (i.e. 'Isa Ibn Maryam and Yahya bin Zakariyya), as their names appear with some of those who recorded it. Its chain is "hasan" because of al-Hakam bin 'Abd al-Rahman bin Abi Nu'm; he is a narrator about whom there is disagreement, but he is "hasan al-hadith". He has been corroborated on the rest of the text (apart from this exception).
وأخرجه النسائي (8113) و (8475) من طريق مروان بن معاوية الفزاري، وابن حبان (6959) من طريق أبي نعيم الفضل بن دكين، كلاهما عن الحكم بن عبد الرحمن، به.
Source / Reference: Al-Nasa'i narrated it in (8113) and (8475) via Marwan bin Mu'awiyah al-Fazari, and Ibn Hibban (6959) via Abu Nu'aym al-Fadl bin Dukayn. Both of them narrate it from al-Hakam bin 'Abd al-Rahman.
وأخرجه أحمد 17 / (10999)، والنسائي (8472) من طريق يزيد بن مَرْدانبة، وأحمد 18 / (11594) و (11618) و (11777)، والترمذي (3768)، والنسائي (8461) و (8473) و (8474) من طريق يزيد بن أبي زياد الهاشمي مولاهم، كلاهما عن عبد الرحمن بن أبي نُعْم، عن أبي سعيد الخدري. وإسناد رواية ابن مَرْدانبة صحيح.
