أخبرني أحمد بن بالَوَيهِ العَفْصي، حدثنا محمد بن عثمان بن أبي شَيْبة، حدثنا عبّاد بن يعقوب، حدثنا نوح بن دَرّاج، عن محمد بن إسحاق، عن الزُّهْري، أنَّ أسماء الأنصارية قالت: ما رُفع حَجَرٌ بإيلِيَاءَ ليلةَ قُتل عليٌّ إِلَّا وَوُجِد تحته دَمٌ عَبِيطٌ (1). قال الحاكم: قد اختلفتِ الرواياتُ في مَبلغِ سنِّ أمير المؤمنين حين قُتل:

It is narrated from Asma' al-Ansariyyah that on the night Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) was martyred, no stone was lifted in Bayt al-Maqdis (Iliya) except that fresh, thick blood came out from beneath it.

(1) إسناده تالف من أجل نوح بن درّاج، فهو متروك الحديث، وكذّبه ابن مَعِين واتهمه أبو داود بوضع الحديث، وكذا الحاكم نفسه في "المدخل إلى الصحيح" فقال: حدَّث عن الثقات بالموضوعات، واعتمد الذهبي في "تلخيصه" قول ابن مَعِين فيه، فقال: نوح كذاب. قلت: وقد تقدَّم بإسناد آخر ضعيف برقم (4642) غير أنه جعله من قول الزُّهْري لم يسنده عن أسماء الأنصارية.
Grading: Its chain is "talif" (ruined / severely weak) because of "Nuh bin Darraj". He is "matruk al-hadith"; Ibn Ma'in called him a liar and Abu Dawud accused him of fabricating hadith. Al-Hakim himself said about him in "al-Madkhal ila al-Sahih": "He narrated fabricated (mawdu') reports on the authority of trustworthy narrators." Al-Dhahabi, relying on the statement of Ibn Ma'in, said in his "Talkhis": "Nuh is an outright liar (kadhdhab)."
Note: I (the editor) say: this hadith has already passed with another weak chain at no. (4642), except that there it was made a statement of al-Zuhri and was not narrated with a connected chain from Asma' al-Ansariyyah.
