Grading: This report (text) is "sahih", and this present chain is "hasan" in corroborating chains and supporting reports (reason: Abd Allah bin Muhammad bin Aqil).
Corroborating chains: He was corroborated by Muhammad bin Ali al-Baqir, as narrated by al-Humaydi in his "Musnad" (1268) with a "sahih" chain.
Reference / Source: This narration is also in al-Bukhari (2296) and Muslim (2314) via Muhammad bin Ali al-Baqir, but both of them (the two Shaykhs) did not mention in their narration the point of evidence (the specific part) that the author intends here.
Important point: The report of the wealth arriving from Bahrain in the time of Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him), after the death of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), is also "established" through the narration of Muhammad bin al-Munkadir from Jabir, which is in Musnad Ahmad (22/14301), al-Bukhari (2598) and Muslim (2314).
