It is narrated from Sa'id bin al-Musayyib (may Allah have mercy on him) that Abu Bakr al-Siddiq (may Allah be pleased with him) held the position of minister (wazir) with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). He (peace and blessings be upon him) consulted him in all his affairs. He was the second in accepting Islam, the second in the cave, the second in the shelter ('arish) on the day of the Battle of Badr, and he is the second in the grave. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) did not give precedence to anyone over him.

Explanation & Benefits
Shaykh Adil Murshid et al.
Grading: Its chain is "da'if" because of the weakness of Muhammad bin Zakariyya (Ibn Dawud al-Ghalabi) and because the father and uncle of Ibn 'A'ishah are unknown.
Technical note / Defect ('illah): Ibn 'A'ishah: he is 'Ubayd Allah bin Muhammad bin Hafs bin 'Umar bin Musa, known as Ibn 'A'ishah, al-'Ayshi and al-'A'ishi. And his father's paternal uncle: he is 'Ubayd Allah.
General principle: However, everything that has come in this report is "sahih" in terms of meaning and circumstances, as many well-known texts (hadiths) indicate.
