أخبرنا الأستاذ أبو الوليد وأبو بكر بن عبد الله، قالا: أخبرنا الحسن بن سفيان، حدثنا أبو موسى الأنصاري، حدثنا سعد بن سعيد، حدثني أخي، عن أبي هريرة، أنَّ رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: "اللهمّ إنك أخرجْتَني من أحبِّ البلاد إليَّ، فأسكِنّي أحبَّ البلادِ إليك"، فأسكنه اللهُ المدينةَ(1).
هذا حديث رواته مَدنيُّون من بيت أبي سعيد المَقْبُري.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) made this plea: 'Allahumma innaka akhrajtani min ahabbi al-biladi ilayya, fa-askinni ahabba al-biladi ilayka' (O Allah! You have taken me out of the city that was most beloved to me, so now settle me permanently in the city that is most beloved to You). So Allah Almighty settled him in Madinah al-Munawwarah.
