فحدثنا أبو بكر محمد بن عبد الله الشافِعي من أصل كتابه، حدثنا محمد بن شَدَّاد المِسْمَعيّ، حدثنا أبو نُعيم، حدثنا عبد الله بن حَبيب بن أبي ثابت، عن أبيه، عن سعيد بن جُبَير، عن ابن عبّاس، قال: أوحَى اللهُ إلى محمد ﷺ: إني قَتلْتُ بيحيى ابن زكريا سبعين ألفًا، وإني قاتلٌ بابنِ ابنتِك سبعين ألفًا وسبعين ألفًا (1). وقد رواه حميد بن الربيع الخَزّاز عن أبي نُعيم. ذكر نبي الله ورُوحه عيسى ابن مريم صلوات الله عليه
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both); he said: Allah Almighty revealed to Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him): "Indeed, I had seventy thousand people killed in return for Yahya ibn Zakariyya, and I will have seventy thousand and seventy thousand (one hundred and forty thousand) people killed in return for the son of your daughter." Humayd bin al-Rabi' al-Khazzaz also narrated it from Abu Nu'aym. (After this) the account of the Prophet of Allah and His spirit, Isa ibn Maryam (Allah's blessings be upon him), begins.
