It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said (Abu Salamah Musa bin Isma'il, expressing doubt about it being attributed to the Prophet, said: If Allah wills, this is the saying of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him): "So when his Lord manifested Himself to the mountain, He crushed it to pieces." [Surah al-A'raf: 143] He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Then the mountain sank into the earth."

Explanation & Benefits
Shaykh Adil Murshid et al.
Grading: Its chain is sahih, like the previous one. Details of the narration: It has already passed under nos. (66) and (67) through two routes from Abu Salamah Musa bin Isma'il without any doubt; so it appears that the doubt here comes from someone below Musa bin Isma'il. And Allah knows best.
