أخبرني عبد الرحمن بن الحسن القاضي، حدثنا إبراهيم بن الحسين، حدثنا آدم بن أبي إياس، حدثنا ورقاء، عن ابن أبي نجيح، عن مجاهد، في قوله: ﴿عَذَابُ يَوْمِ الظُّلَّةِ﴾، قال: ظلال العذاب (3).

It is narrated from Mujahid (may Allah have mercy on him) concerning the saying of Allah Almighty: 'The punishment of the Day of the Canopy', that he said: "What is meant by it is the shade of the punishment."

(3) رجاله ثقات غير عبد الرحمن بن الحسن القاضي، لكنه متابع، وهو في "تفسير آدم بن أبي إياس" 2/ 465. وأخرجه الطبري في "تفسيره" 19/ 110، وفي "تاريخه" 1/ 328، وابن أبي حاتم في "تفسيره" 9/ 2816 من طريقين عن ورقاء، به.
Grading: Its narrators are thiqah except "'Abd al-Rahman bin al-Hasan al-Qadi", but he has been corroborated. It is in "Tafsir Adam bin Abi Iyas" 2/ 465. Al-Tabari in his "Tafsir" 19/ 110 and "Tarikh" 1/ 328, and Ibn Abi Hatim in his "Tafsir" 9/ 2816, also narrated it by two routes from Warqa', likewise.
وأخرجه الطبري في "تفسيره" 19/ 110، وفي "تاريخه" 1/ 328 من طريق عيسى بن ميمون الجُرشي، عن ابن أبي نجيح، به.
Reference / Source: Al-Tabari narrated it in his "Tafsir" 19/ 110 and "Tarikh" 1/ 328 by way of 'Isa bin Maymun al-Jurashi, from Ibn Abi Najih, likewise.
وأخرجه الطبري أيضًا فيهما من طريق ابن جُريج، عن مجاهد.
