It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked his Lord for four things: that his Ummah would not perish from hunger (this was granted); that they would not unite upon misguidance (this too was granted); that they would not turn back into disbelief (this too was granted); and that no outside enemy would wipe them out at the root (this too was granted). He (peace and blessings be upon him) also asked that there be no fighting among themselves, and this (fifth thing) was not granted.
Although Mubarak bin Suhaym does not meet the standard of this book, he has been mentioned here out of necessity.

Explanation & Benefits
Shaykh Adil Murshid et al.
Note / Clarification: The word "ummatih" is missing from manuscripts (Z) and (B); we have recorded it on the basis of manuscripts (S) and (A).
Grading: Its chain is "extremely weak" (da'if jiddan), because its narrator Mubarak Abu Suhaym (Ibn Suhaym) is "matruk" (abandoned).
