حدَّثنا أبو محمد أحمد بن عبد الله المُزَني، حدَّثنا أبو جعفر الحَضْرمي، حدَّثنا أحمد بن يونُس، حدَّثنا زُهَير، عن أبي إسحاق، عن فَرْوة بن نوفل الأشجعي، عن أبيه، أنه قال للنبي ﷺ: مُرْني بشيءٍ أقولُه، فقال: "إذا أَوَيتَ إلى مَضجَعِك فاقرأ ﴿قُلْ يَاأَيُّهَا الْكَافِرُونَ﴾ إلى خاتمتِها، فإنها بَراءةٌ من الشِّرْك" (2).
هذا حديث صحيح الإسناد، ولم يُخرجاه.

It is narrated from Nawfal al-Ashja'i (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): Tell me something that I may recite (at bedtime). He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When you go to your bed, recite 'Say: O disbelievers' [Surah al-Kafirun: 1] to the end, for it is a disavowal of shirk."
The chain of this hadith is sahih (authentic), but the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim) did not record it.

(2) حديث حسن كما سلف برقم (2102). أبو جعفر الحضرمي: هو الحافظ محمد بن عبد الله بن سليمان المعروف بمطيَّن، وأحمد بن يونس: هو أحمد بن عبد الله بن يونس، نُسب إلى جدِّه، وزهير هو ابن معاوية الجُعْفيّ، وأبو إسحاق: هو عمرو بن عبد الله السَّبيعي.
Grading: The hadith is hasan, as has passed at number (2102). Abu Ja'far al-Hadrami is the hafiz Muhammad bin Abdullah bin Sulayman (known as Mutayyan); Ahmad bin Yunus is Ahmad bin Abdullah bin Yunus (attributed to his grandfather); Zuhayr is Ibn Mu'awiyah al-Ju'fi; and Abu Ishaq is 'Amr bin Abdullah al-Sabi'i.
وأخرجه أحمد 39/ (24009/ 49)، وأبو داود (5055)، والنسائي (10569) و (11645)، وابن حبان (790) من طرق عن زهير بن معاوية، بهذا الإسناد.
