It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that he came to Sayyiduna Abdullah bin al-Zubayr (may Allah be pleased with him) and said: O Ibn al-Zubayr, beware of deviation and violation of sanctity in the Sanctuary of Allah, for I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "A man from Quraysh will commit ilhad (violation of sanctity) in it (the Sanctuary). If his sins were weighed against the sins of all jinn and mankind, his scale would outweigh them."
The chain of narration of this hadith is sahih (authentic), but the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim) did not record it.

Explanation & Benefits
Shaykh Adil Murshid et al.
Technical note / Defect ('illah): (2) In the printed edition, in place of "Ibn Ibnat Ibrahim" it is written "Anba'a Ibrahim", which is an "ugly corruption". This Abu al-Hasan is the daughter's son (grandson) of Ibrahim bin Hani'.
Technical note / Defect ('illah): (3) In manuscripts (Z), (S) and ('A) it is "wa-ilhad" (with the waw), while what we have established from manuscript (B) (without the waw) is the standard form (al-jaddah).
Grading: (4) This hadith, in sha' Allah, is "sahih", but this chain of the author is unique to him, and in it a "wahm" (error) has occurred on the part of the narrators below "Muhammad bin Kunasah". Technical note / Defect ('illah): They made it "Ishaq bin Isa bin Asim from his father", whereas this narrator named Ishaq is not known and no biography of him is found. And the narration of his father Isa bin Asim (al-Asadi al-Kufi) from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) is "mursal", because he did not reach the time of Ibn Umar. Reference / Source: Ibn Abi Shaybah and Ahmad narrated it from Muhammad bin Kunasah and gave the chain as: "Ishaq bin Sa'id from his father". Technical note / Defect ('illah): Ahmad (Musnad Abd Allah bin Amr: 11/ 6847, 7043) narrated it via Abu al-Nadr Hashim bin al-Qasim, in which the one who came to Ibn al-Zubayr is "Abd Allah bin Amr bin al-As", not "Abd Allah bin Umar bin al-Khattab". And Abu al-Nadr is more "thiqah" and a better "hafiz" than Muhammad bin Kunasah. And Ishaq bin Sa'id (Ibn Amr bin Sa'id bin al-As) and his father are both "thiqah".
