Mustadrak al-Hakim — Hadith 35

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was asked: What is faith? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever is pleased by his good deed and saddened by his evil deed is a believer."
All of these hadiths are sahih and connected (muttasil) on the condition of the two Shaykhs.
