Explanation & Benefits
Shaykh Adil Murshid et al.
Grading: (1) Its chain is "sahih". Technical note / Defect ('illah): Ishaq bin Ibrahim bin 'Abbad is "al-Dabari". Reference / Source: It was documented by Ahmad (3/ 1916), al-Bukhari (3888), (4716), (6613), al-Tirmidhi (3134), al-Nasa'i (11228) and Ibn Hibban (56), through various routes from Sufyan bin 'Uyaynah, with this chain. Important point: So al-Hakim's mentioning it (as an addition, mustadrak) is an "oversight" on his part. Reference / Source: And Ahmad narrated it in similar form (5/ 3500) via Zakariyya bin Ishaq, from Amr bin Dinar.
