It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "This Arabic language was placed by inspiration into the blessed heart of Sayyiduna Ibrahim (peace be upon him), the Friend of Allah."
This hadith is gharib (unusual), but it is sahih (authentic) on the condition of the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim), provided that al-Fadl bin Muhammad preserved it from Abu Thabit with a connected chain.

Explanation & Benefits
Shaykh Adil Murshid et al.
Grading: It is da'if (weak). Technical note / Defect ('illah): Al-Fadl bin Muhammad al-Sha'rani was contradicted by someone more trustworthy than him, who narrated it as "mursal" from Muhammad bin 'Ali (the father of Ja'far), as the author (al-Hakim) indicated after it, expressing doubt about al-Fadl having accurately preserved it as connected. Reference / Source: Al-Bayhaqi recorded it in "Shu'ab al-Iman" (1504) from Abu 'Abd Allah al-Hakim with this same chain, then narrated from him the mursal narration and said: "It is the mahfuz (preserved) one." Reference / Source: And it will come once more as "mawsul" (connected) through another route that is not authentic from Ibrahim bin Sa'd, at number (3682), and there it contains the words: "Isma'il (peace be upon him) was inspired." Technical note / Defect ('illah): After this hadith al-Bayhaqi pointed to what contradicts it, namely the hadith of Sa'id bin Jubayr from Ibn 'Abbas in al-Bukhari (3364) concerning the story of Isma'il, Zamzam, and the tribe of Jurhum settling in the lower part of Makkah. Details of the narration: Ibn 'Abbas said that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "That (the arrival of Jurhum) found the mother of Isma'il while she loved company"; so they settled there and sent word to their families, who settled with them, until there were several households of them there, and the boy (Isma'il) grew up and learned Arabic from them.
