حدثنا أبو جعفر محمد بن صالح بن هانئ، حدثنا السَّرِيّ بن خُزَيمة، حدثنا أبو عبد الرحمن عبد الله بن يزيد المقرئ. وأخبرنا أحمد بن جعفر القَطِيعي، حدثنا عبد الله بن أحمد بن حنبل، حدثني أبي، حدثنا عبد الله بن يزيد، حدثنا سعيد بن [أبي] أيوب، أخبرني أبو صَخْر، عن نافع قال: كان لابن عمر صديقٌ من أهل الشام يكاتبُه، فكَتَبَ إليه عبدُ الله بن عُمر: أنه بَلَغَني أنك تكلَّمت في شيءٍ من القَدَر، فإياك أن تكتبَ إليَّ، فإني سمعت رسول الله ﷺ يقول: "إنَّه سيكون في أمَّتي أقوامٌ يكذِّبون بالقَدَر" (2).
هذا حديث صحيح على شرط مسلم، فقد احتجَّ بأبي صخرٍ حميد بن زياد، ولم يُخرجاه.

It is narrated from Nafi' that Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) had a friend in Sham with whom he used to correspond. Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) wrote to him: It has reached me that you have said some (wrong) things about Qadar (divine decree), so do not write to me again, for I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: "Soon there will be people in my Ummah who will deny Qadar (divine decree)."
This hadith is sahih (authentic) on the condition of Muslim, because he used Abu Sakhr Humayd bin Ziyad as evidence, but the two Shaykhs did not record it.

(2) إسناده حسن إن شاء الله، وذلك من أجل أبي صخر: وهو حميد بن زياد.
Grading: Its chain is hasan, in sha' Allah, on account of Abu Sakhr (Humayd bin Ziyad).
والحديث في "مسند أحمد" 9/ (5639)، وعن أحمد أخرجه أيضًا أبو داود (4613).
